Member Event: Preseason Tip-off

DuckParty

This page will be updated if we have any updates.

This is our 'big' FBC Member social for the year.  It gives us a chance to catch up with the players and coaches away from the basketball court.  It traditionally used to be a 'Summer BBQ', but has evolved to a fall Preseason event since many of our players compete internationally in the summers.

Details:

  • Sunday, Oct 13th,  4-6pm.  Doors open @ 3:30pm
  • In Matthew Knight Arena:
    • Enter through the main (north) doors by the big Duck statue.
    • You'll be directed to the right, to the west concourse (by the Guest Services office)
    • We'll be in the same area as last season's event.  We did have complaints about it being 'too hot' at the last event, but this year we're doing it later in the season which should bring October temperatures.

This social is for FBC members.   Children of FBC members can attend free if they are under 18 years of age, if they are part of your RSVP. If you want to arrange to bring another guest who is not a 2018-19 FBC member, please contact Steve.  (They could sign-up for the club before or at the event).

RSVP:

So we can get estimates for catering, please give RSVPs by October 6th (Noon), to Steve Cordon:

stevec.fbc@gmail.com
or call 541-513-3452.

Contact Steve if you have any questions.

Parking:

Parking on the street around the Arena is usually free on Sundays, though double-check any meter you are at.  (parking map)

The Columbia Garage (under Matthew Knight) operates as an unattended Pay-To-Park on weekends. ($1 per hour)

Menu:

The menu will be a Mexican-themed Buffet

There will be a No-Host bar, if you would like Beer or Wine (Cash or credit cards accepted, but no American Express)
